Wildflower Identification--And Not

SUMMARY: A volunteer project not involving dogs.

If you'd like to see my photos (many blurry again) of my hike and wildflower identification (or failure to identify) project, read about it here.

(I will have you know that it has now taken me longer to sort through, label, edit, upload, describe, organize, and research the photos I took than the entire time that I spent driving to & from and actually going on the hike--and it was a 4-hour hike! I hate digital photography.)

  1. I was just thinking the same thing, how I miss the good old days when you took your film into the store and got back a nice packet of pretty pictures and that was that. Does anybody even process film anymore?

Don't even get me going on how much time I waste editing video.

  2. Yeah, Longs and Costco and all the usual places still process film. But I wonder how long it'll last?

I'm reminded of how everyone predicted how computers would save so much paper, and then paper usage shot up to hundreds (?) times more paper.

And I used to spend evenings and weekends and spare moments doing stuff around the house, not sitting at the computer. Argh. Technology.
