Thanks. The moon was with a borrowed 100-400mm lens. Tried to get it sharper, but no success. Not sure it's possible without a telescope.
Saw the moon on Sunday night, low in the sky, 3/4 of a moon, glowing gold....thought of you...
The moon can be amazing. But usually one has to actually work at it to get really nice shots involving the moon, because it looks so much nicer with the naked eye than through a camera lens.
