SUMMARY: Video.
Two bars down plus an entire jump, missed obstacles everywhere, refusals and runouts. You names it, we gots it! Plus I feel like I'm running like a wild thing out there, but in the video I look like I'm just lumbering around the course. My knee was bothering me a bit, and you can see me favoring it slightly, although I wasn't even thinking about it at the time. (Oh, and yesterday I said that the judge asked us to leave the course, but in reviewing the video, I think she was just starting to tell the workers which jumps to take off the field, since we were the last to run and obviously didn't need her complete attention any more.)
Look on the bright side, she didn't blow any contacts or weaves.
ReplyDeleteYou're such a good sport for sharing the video. I have so totally been there, done that with both of my dogs at one time or another so the laughs I got out of watching your video were of the "yup, been there" variety.
Hugs to poor Tika for a speedy recovery from her malaise. Sounds just awful.
I love your commentary. Wicca and I had a run like that yesterday. It was pretty awful.
ReplyDeleteGood thing these dogs are cute!

Yes, her start-line stay and contacts have been pretty darned good, although she's starting to leave the contacts without a release word... gotta work on that, too. So little time--
ReplyDeleteBut they ARE danged cute and make me smile every day.
