The Canada Geese have become real pests in many places; too bad, they're quite striking.
The long-beaked bird is a Brown Pelican. He would fly up, swoop into the water, come up with a fish in his beak and kind of flip it into his throat, over and over. Guess he was hungry!

Ah, a pelican, that makes sense. Very cool-looking bird -- we don't have anything like that in my parts.
