I haven't tried denying water. It's an interesting thought but not sure how to manage it. Don't want to do it until after dinner, which is usually after 6. And then she usually takes herself for an extended full-speed run around the yard around 8:00, and not sure it's a good idea to prevent her from drinking after that.
The other thing is, it would just be a pain in the butt. I'd have to let the dogs in and out and monitor them if they went outside, instead of their usual doggie door usage, because of the ponds.
So I guess I'm saying maybe that's more of a pain than getting up in the night.
Of course he is! She's been reading for years, when you were off doing your people things!
