Forgetting Life's Basic Skills

SUMMARY: What has COVID done to us?
From Facebook thread Dec 10, 2020.

A sports-photographer friend commented that, after some time off because of COVID, "I've forgotten how to take a photo of a moving object!"

This rang a bell. I said:

I'd say that your challenge is more easily corrected than me getting into my car and feeling like I've forgotten how to drive (so many buttons and levers and things! other large moving objects all around me! plus sunglasses!). I've put hardly any miles on my car since early January (first, surgery, then covid). Hardly a day used to go by, in a different alternate universe, when I wasn't getting into the car and going somewhere--work, store, friend's house, out to dinner, mysterious activities that shall remain unidentified to protect the innocent--

Thanks, COVID universe, for helping us to forget basic skills like carring and cameraing.

    1. LOL! Yes, I've become even more random in those skills than I was before.
