SUMMARY: The best toys are the cheapest and come from the recycling bin.
Updated Sept 23: Squink photo and comment about the 30 years between Amber and Tika.
Ooops, almost identical post in 2019.
Thanks to Squink's Human Mom for the summary line and the idea for the post. Dogs love plastic bottles! Well, mine always have, anyway.
How could I not have photos of Sheba, Remington, or Jake with bottles?? Well, maybe I do in a photo album somewhere.
And just happen to have one of a friend's dog--

So cute! Once in a long while Katie thinks it would be fun to play with a plastic water bottle. Mostly she's sort of scared of them. Who knows why. It's a sheltie thing.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, Katie, you don't know what fun with crunchies you're missing!
DeleteI think every dog has to have something to be scared at. Sheba was terrified of earthquakes. Remington was terrified of giant rawhide bones. Boost was afraid of unfamiliar floors (as was her Dad, I found out later).
Sometimes the cheapest toys are the best!
