I could do 17 weekends of USDAA trials without going more than 2 hours from home and an additional 14 weekends of nonconflicting CPE trials without going more than 2 hours from home.

But I don't like coming home overnight if it's more than 1 hour, and that limits me to too small a selection. So, then, if I'm going to pick some that are farther away, why not pick ALL that are farther away? AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh! Run away!!!!!Elfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01827436807468320435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730801.post-16698013953333249702009-05-08T15:06:00.000-07:002009-05-08T15:06:00.000-07:00lol, you sound just like me!

Of course, there never ends up being a trial every weekend. After planning out our entire year of trialling, we'll probably do about 20 trials and fun matches this year.

~NatNatashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12986443645823408698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730801.post-82725281681226690492009-05-08T11:55:00.000-07:002009-05-08T11:55:00.000-07:00You're right, I've also heard that there are no mo...You're right, I've also heard that there are no more byes into the finals.

What it would do for me is prove that we could be contenders at Scottsdale.Elfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01827436807468320435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730801.post-39221356048805298772009-05-08T11:30:00.000-07:002009-05-08T11:30:00.000-07:00I'm finding the best way to cut down on entry fees...I'm finding the best way to cut down on entry fees is to not enter the tournaments. Unless of course you really are wanting to go to Nationals.

Is there an advantage to winning a tournament at Regionals? I thought they were doing away with byes into the finals but maybe I've got that wrong.Elaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02734583197185810124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730801.post-8944634878811151782009-05-07T22:00:00.000-07:002009-05-07T22:00:00.000-07:00You are funnnnneeeee.

Unless (uh-oh, this is how I got conned into going last year, I said "unless"...) either dog wins the Steeplechase or maybe Grand Prix at the labor day regionals, I'd think about it.Elfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01827436807468320435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730801.post-67935997546841485902009-05-07T18:35:00.000-07:002009-05-07T18:35:00.000-07:00Hey, if you go to the Nationals again, that gives ...Hey, if you go to the Nationals again, that gives you a mid-Nov trial :-).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
