I was surprised when it turned out that people were actually reading it. Now I sometimes try to put in things that other people will find useful or amusing rather than it all being just stuff no one would be interested in except me.Elfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01827436807468320435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730801.post-82276725411232960852010-01-18T16:36:33.076-08:002010-01-18T16:36:33.076-08:00The Defense of Marriage Act should be repealed as ...The Defense of Marriage Act should be repealed as well! And I agree, how strange to go about passing laws explicitly to discriminate. As it is, gay marriages from Vermont (& some other states) aren't even recognized in most other states.

And yep, most blogs are self-centered! I think unnecessary for most people to declare what their blog is "about." Usually it is just to tell our family/friends what's going on in our little worlds, so we end up making it about their gardening or kids or photography or dogs or whatever to give it a framework. And then go off topic!minnowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02684517947260435774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730801.post-59580083781292934902010-01-16T11:10:26.217-08:002010-01-16T11:10:26.217-08:00Here's one at Team Small Dog. All blogs about hobbies are self-centered by their very nature as is the pursuit of hobbies so I'm a little confused and maybe I'm missing something.Elaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02734583197185810124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730801.post-53873885713806604552010-01-15T18:23:26.488-08:002010-01-15T18:23:26.488-08:00Some people don't see it as a civil rights iss...Some people don't see it as a civil rights issue. Maybe a moral issue. Maybe along the same lines as, should a man be allowed to marry his sister. I can't imagine if the government of Canada were ever to do the same.

Plus I just don't get why a civil rights issue like this would be put to popular vote in the first place.Muttsandaklutzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05551047401085562752noreply@blogger.com
